ESC Latvia 2003

Only me, 2 G4 and a 22" screen.....and a lot of work!

But the catering had several choices between " pork,chicken or soup", everyday.....

A 3 week session with nice friends as: Per Sundin, Pontus"Bullen" Lagerbielke, Emma Landare and Danne Persson.

A standard setting was born, the LED floor that made turkey the winners that year

ESC Tallin 2002

The show Lighting Designer Per Sundin designed special gobos called "ShaaRock" which were made by Beacon AB in Sweden., That was the thing about ESC,my tribute to this event only, but the Catalyst was in version 1.0 hopefully....

Polar Prize 2001

I did graphic material for a big screen for the "master" Stockhausen, the father of electronic music. As the others, Robert Moog and Burt Bacharach had some 5 minutes performance, Stockhausen had a almost 15 minutes long piece ( live broadcast!) with his "Gesang der junglinge"

that I had to make as good as I could to illustrate the music.....not a piece of cake, since he was very hard in his opinion about what is good and what is crap.....I did make it!

Tabula Rasa Theatre 2000

Tabula Rasa theatre with Profilteatern. First time with projections mixed with gobos.Hardwork with my brother Michael and we even had a projector on a wire for special effects.

The "pre-Historic commercials" we did was also fun!!!

MillenniumParty 2000 Stockholm

Millennium party at Stockholm Old Town, paid by Stenbeck the media mogul.I was in charge of the graphics for the stage and content for countdowns, yes, that has to be exact in milliseconds...

This with U2´s enormous old "LED" wall, an enormous big thing and not really easy to make working, (on the picture you are at the crowd, the screen is placed about 400m from this point ) and shitcold in Stockholm and I made the graphics going on for the evening, Stuff for the act´s Tribute to ABBA and Europe ( Final Countdown of course and Bullen was happy to work with them again) to the countdown on the big screen mixed with the live broadcast from Skansen.

It was a really challenge to get this work.

We all got afterwards a diploma and a certificate to NOT be hired for any millenium party again,

the producers way to thank us for the job ( I hope)

Dan Reed Network again

This year again, another tour the was to supposed to be 4-5 gigs, and ended up in about 20 was almost killing my vacation ( my touring was ended up in 1986 official), but this guy and now with only the swedish guys as band was making a great tour, and I had my Solar 250 included in my gear...and Abstract new moving lights, Eagles....horrible but fun...

Dan Reed Network

Dan Reed´s decision to tour Sweden with a Swedish support act.This really great and friendly guy with his band, I just jumped in to replace the Sören, the light guy for some gigs, and it was fun and great! Not the "american superstar" attitude, just really fun and great people!! Brollan from Electrosound, John Bjaaland and me!!

Seal promotion gigs Exit

This was a great guy, friendly and gentle, I was expecting a diva, and was proven wrong....
He took my newborn child Hannah, just some month in his arms and showed his best side...
I was sound engineer on this promotions gigs, and we tested the new in-ear monitor systems secretly at that time...

Great guys, nice time...Tommy, Stefan, André, Mats and Teddy.....

Robert " Robban" Broberg

Some great and fun gigs with a very great artist /person, for some smaller events, as sound and light op, these small shows was a mental kick for all, including me and that was also a very special person to meet and  we had some great chat about life and other stuff in his blue house just in private that time.

He was one of the cornerstone in my life to have met and known a bit.....even since it was a short period.

If you not are swedish born, it is maybe hard to understand and also heard about, but in swedish hearts he was something really special

 

Sonett Studios with Johnny Winter

 Did light up the skinny, tiny ,but big guitarist Johnny Winter for a recorded session at Sonett Studios

where we made several videos at that time, he do play really great here.....Proud to be part of that still...!

Pernilla Wahlgren Tour

Pernilla, Ingrosso Brothers ( and father that I replaced a little bit as tour manager, but a great guy)
Micke Bolyos, Lasse Persson and Roger Pontare...and yes, after the last gig joke, finaly Emilio did forgive me after 10 years...

Kikki Danielsson & Roosarna

This dance band was so great people, not my kind of music but the friendly and great persons in that band was a great
experience for me, me longhaired hippie, them as mothers boys....nothing could go wrong..yes?

This is actually the firs persons I missed after a 8-9 month of touring, I do really respect honest people in the business,
and this bunch was great!

Parni Valjak turne

Tour with a Jugoslavia band with a strange promotor that ended up in understanding that he had to

bribe people unless he faced empty halls....

It's Alive, a cover band at that time

 A nice coverband, that had a great singer and very nice guys for sure, the singer , Martin,later did make it big time, but still stay as a nice guy....also the guitarist made it with a own band later on, when Martin become mr. Max.Some gigs around Stockholm and also some non paid recordings and free smoke machines every time, they later did make records and was just did it....

Mörbyligan, a lot go his with them...

 As Åke, the singer was just to big for hotelbeds, he forced us a lot to drive overnights, and he had a dog small as a rat....a kind of weird band somehow, but Nicke guys....several gigs around Sweden with them.

After some tourings, Åke had a thing to collect both anarkists and skinheads around him, lot of different opinions on that from us.....

Anders F Rönnblom and Seskaton

Touring a little with Anders F, not just a songwriter and musician but also one of the pioneer in 3d art running his own magazine for a long time. He had his hits all over Sweden and the tours was really stuffed, gig´s almost every days. I still have contact with him and he was the guy that really show the way into 3d and art!

Tony Ellis tour

Long, long days in Sweden, denmark and Germany. All managed by "Titanic Production" ( just the name?...We had great times then, Bosse Skoglund on drums, Colin Dayall on sax and all the rest , Shaun on sound, me on light, Jens Horslev Jensen at backline and Vincente on monitor, Matte Eriksson as driver and a never ending tour...but fun, I wish I had some pictures from those days.....anyone?
